Joseph Rohrbaugh, 18, has been extradited from Florida back to Baltimore following an investigation into a September stabbing that left his victim with lacerations to his body.

According to investigators, shortly before 2 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 8, officers from the Baltimore Police Department were called to a hospital to investigate reports of a walk-in cutting victim who had been attacked earlier that night.

It is alleged that the 20-year-old and Rohrbaugh were involved in an altercation that turned physical, during which he took out a blade and stabbed his victim several times before fleeing.

Rohrbaugh was identified as a suspect and on Tuesday, Dec. 5, a warrant was issued for his arrest and he was brought from Clearwater, Florida, back to Baltimore, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

He is being held at the agency's Central Booking Intake Facility and held without bail. His next court date is pending.
